| Abstract | O conhecimento da dinâmica sazonal das águas superficiais de uma região pode ser usado como subsídio para um planejamento mais consciente. Esse trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver um método de identificação de águas superficiais na região da Sub-bacia Hidrográfica do Baixo Jaguaribe utilizando séries temporais do satélite Sentinel-1. O método consiste em seis etapas: pré-processamento das imagens; construção do cubo temporal; aplicação da Análise de Componentes de Densidade e Probabilidade (ACDP); utilização da transformação Minimum Noise Fraction (MNF); uso da técnica de aprendizado de máquina Random Forest e delimitação das águas superficiais no período seco e chuvoso. Observou-se que existe uma diferença entre os períodos seco e chuvoso. Aproximadamente 57,5% da área do rio fica exposta no período seco. A metodologia utilizada mostrou-se bastante eficiente na diferenciação dos corpos hídricos em relação a outros elementos que possuem respostas semelhantes e na melhoria da relação sinal/ruído. ABSTRACT: The knowledge of the seasonal dynamics of surface water in a region can be used as a subsidy for a more conscious planning. This work aims to develop a method to identify surface waters in the Baixo Jaguaribe sub-basin region using time series from the Sentinel-1 satellite. The method consists of six steps: pre-processing of the images; construction of the temporal cube; application of Density and Probability Component Analysis (DCA); use of the Minimum Noise Fraction (MNF) transformation; use of the Random Forest machine learning technique and delimitation of surface waters in the dry and rainy periods. It was observed that there is a difference between the dry and rainy periods. 57,5% of the river area is exposed in the dry period. The methodology used proved to be very efficient in differentiating the water bodies from other elements that have similar responses and in improving the signal-to-noise ratio. |
